When you think of Makaela you know that some people are born to sing. As the daughter of musicians she has been around music her entire life. Makaela began singing for audiences when she was a little girl. Since then she has studied piano, voice, songwriting, and dance. All of which are included into her unique style.

The lovely and talented Makaela is a 23-year-old Pop-R&B singing sensation, songwriter, keyboardist, and producer whose style keeps evolving.

In Secret Me, her debut CD, infectious dance grooves and soaring vocals combine to make this work a tender as well as tough journey into a woman’s secret spaces often reserved for only those closest to her.

Secret Me is a sometimes bold and often-tender performance of fresh new tunes and dance grooves from this brilliant young emerging vocalist, pianist, and songwriter.

Most recently, she has had the opportunity to perform with many world-class musicians in the Bay Area, Kauai, Boston, and Hollywood. She studied at the Berklee School of Music in Boston, and was a winning contestant in the 2006 summer songwriting competition. While attending college at UC Davis, Makaela was captain of her hip-hop dance team Broken Ground, and lead the gospel choir as their teacher’s assistant and president.

Makaela is now available for voice, piano, and songwriting lessons. She is also available for recording, audio engineering, and production sessions.
